When we were asked to work with Black British Golfers, we didn’t just see it as a design brief. We saw it as an opportunity to help tell a story, one that celebrates heritage, empowers underrepresented voices in golf, and proudly redefines what the sport can look like.

And the result? A series of custom Bando towels that became more than a gift. They became a symbol of unity, creativity, and culture, collected by guests, remembered from events, and worn with pride.

The towel featured bold, expressive patterns inspired by African textiles, with colours and symbols that spoke to strength, legacy, and progress. We worked closely with the Black British Golfers team to ensure the design reflected both their roots and their future—a celebration of heritage, and a statement of ambition.

These weren’t your typical event gifts.

Across a series of Black British Golfers events, our towels were handed out to attendees, supporters, and players—not just as merch, but as collectors’ items. Guests remembered them.

Some even asked for extras. That’s when we knew we'd created something with lasting impact.
